XAT Exam or the Xavier Aptitude Test holds a distinctive place among MBA management entrance tests in India. Conducted by Xavier Labor Relations Institute (XLRI) Jamshedpur on behalf of XAMI, XAT test scores are accepted for admission by more than a 100 management institutes in India.  This exam has stood out as a benchmark for quality management education for more than six decades. Important Dates for XAT 2015:



  • XAT 2015 will be conducted on 4th January 2015 (Sunday).
  • Apply online on website:- www.xatonline.net.in from 12th August 2014 (Tuesday)  to 22nd November 2014 (Saturday).
  • Last Date to change Test City:- 26th November 2014 (Wednesday). 
  • Downloading of Admit Cards:- 18th December 2014 (Thursday)  - 31st December 2014 (Wednesday).
  • Date of Exam:- 4th January 2015 (Sunday) (10.30 am to 01.30 pm).

XAT 2015 Eligibility:- 

• Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in 10+2+3 scheme from recognized or deemed university in India.
• Applicants appearing for their final year exam and are expected to complete their graduation before June 10, 2015 are also eligible to apply for XAT 2015
How to Apply for XAT 2015:-

Following is step by step procedure for applying for XAT Exam 2015:

STEP 01: Visit XAT exam website www.xatonline.net.in

STEP 02: Fill in personal as well as payment details in XAT registration form
STEP 03: Submit these details to receive XAT 2015 ID and password by email.
STEP 04: Login to website using XAT ID and password
STEP 05:  Fill application details and select mode of payment for the exam
STEP 06: Upload passport sized photograph and signature.
STEP 07: After doing this you will be directed to the XAT confirmation page.
STEP 08: Affix XAT copy of pay-in-slip in the space provided in the registration page.
STEP 09: Send copy of XAT registration page in case of payment through cash mode to XAT office.
STEP 10: Keep copy of XAT registration page, cash mode and note and details of ID and password.

XAT 2015 Application Fee:  XAT Application fee can be made through any one of the following modes


The application fee for Xavier Aptitiude Test 2015 is Rs 1,000/- (rupees one thousand only).

  • Online Payment Gateway: Through VISA/Master Credit/Debit Cards (American Express Card is inadmissible)
  • IDBI Net banking (this option is available only for IDBI account holder)
Mode 2
Cash Payment: You have to take a print out of the XAT Pay-In-Slip visit nearest IDBI bank and make the payment.

Mode 3

Demand Draft: You have to get a DD made in favour of "XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT" payable at Jamshedpur.

Important: If you intend to pay through Mode 2 & 3 you should update the payment details in the registration page. If you fail to do so you will not be allowed to upload your passport sized photograph and signature.

The XAT paper pattern has witnessed different changes in the last five years. The XAT exam similar to the CAT exam the only two difference being the CAT paper pattern does not have an essay and general awareness section and the second XAT is conducted in paper-pencil mode.

National aptitude test in architecture (NATA) serves as a common entrance test for first year admission to B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) course. Conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA) this test is mandatory for admission to architecture colleges in india. The exam is held every year during the month of March or April as notified by the board and can be taken on any working day till the last date for the exam.

Exam Date: NATA 2014 will commence from 1 March 2014.

Candidates are expected to report 30 minutes before the schedule time for the exam. You are supposed to carry receipt cum appointment voucher, valid photoID and drawing material. Test Center personnel will guide you on other important instructions.

•Mandatory subject: Mathematics

How to Apply: Following is a step by step application procedure for NATA 2014

•STEP 01: Purchase NATA 2014 Application form by paying application fee of Rs 1,000 by bank challan at any of the designated branches of the State Bank of India.
•STEP 02: Fill the registration form and obtain important documents required for registration.
•STEP 03: Select a test center that is closest and convinent to you.
•STEP 04: Submit your application form and documents at the designated test center.
•STEP 05: Select a convinent date for taking the exam.
•STEP 06: Request the test center for registration for the particular date.
•STEP 07: Obtain receipt cum appointment voucher.

Important documents required for registration:

•Attested copy of Class 12 certificate.
•One recent passport sized photograph to be attached on registration form.
•Valid PhotoID bearing photograph and signature.
•Valid email ID.

Application or Test Fee: The Application fee for NATA exam is Rs 1000. This registration fee includes the test fee for the exam, NATA information brochure and registration form.

NATA Score Card- NATA Score Card for the exam will be available on NATA website. Score Card is available within four working days of taking the test.

NATA Passing Score- As per the Council of Architecture’s recommendation the NATA passing score is an aggregate of 40 percent that is 80/200 to be considered for admission to first year B.Arch (Bachelor in Architecture) course.

Drawing Test: The drawing test is a two hour paper wherein candidates have to attempt three questions. The section ascertains the candidates ability

•To  sketch an object proportionately and in an aesthetic manner.
•To visualize and draw effects of light on object and how it is cast on surroundings.
•To combine and draw three dimensional objects.
•To create visual harmony in a compostion.
•To understand scales and proportions.
•To create intresting two dimensional drawings.

Aesthetic Sensitivity Test: The section includes 40 multiple choice questions. This test evaluates perception, imagination,observation, creativity and communication of the candidate along with architectural awareness. Apart from that this sections also includes questions in

•Analytical Reasoning
•Mental Ability
•Imaginative comprehension and expression
•Architectural expression.
