Reserve Bank of India encourages online applications from interested and eligible candidates for direct recruitment to the post of Officers in Grade 'B' General in RBI. The process of selection for this latest RBI vacancy would consists of examinations and interview. Candidates wishing to apply for RBI Officers in Gr ‘B’ (General) - DR Recruitment 2014 are required to apply online on www.rbi.org.in. Online application for a total of 117 vacancies will be accepted between June 03, 2014 (Wednesday) and June 23, 2014 (Monday). The application fee can be paid either online or offline.

Eligibility:-

a) Educational qualification: (aspirants should posses any one of the following qualification)
•Bachelors degree with 60 percent marks with equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years
•Masters degree with minimum 55 percent marks with equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years
•Doctorate degree with minimum 50 percent marks with equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years
•Chartered/Cost Accountant/Company Secretary (ACS) with a Bachelor's Degree
•A Post Graduate Diploma in Management / MBA qualification from institutions recognized by Government of India / University Grants Commission, with Graduation / Bachelor’s Degree.

SC/ST/PWD candidates having second class with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years in Bachelor's Degree examination OR having a Post-graduate Degree or equivalent recognized qualification, are eligible to apply.

STEP 03: Click on the hyperlink “Applications (Apps)” in the Advertisement page for filling the On-line Application.
STEP 04:  Enter basic details and upload photograph and signature.
STEP 05:  Fill in details carefully and click on the "Submit" button on completion of online application.  (PS:Board will not entertain any request for change of any information furnished in On-line application, SO CHECK YOUR FORM BEFORE SUBMISSION !!).
STEP 06: The system will generate your Provisional Registration/Receipt Number and Password. (An email or SMS with the following details will also be sent.

Procedure of Selection:-

Procedure of selection for RBI Officers in Gr ‘B’ (General) - DR Recruitment 2014 will consists of examinations and interviews.

The Examination will be held in two phases

Phase-I ON-LINE Examination (Objective Type)
Sections of Objective test

 i) General Awareness
 ii) English Language
iii) Quantitative Aptitude 
iv) Reasoning

Time: 130 minutes

The Phase-II Written Examination (WE) will be conducted in September/ October 2014 (tentative) only for those candidates who are shortlisted for the same. The date and time-table will be intimated to the candidates concerned at the appropriate time.

Phase-II Written Examination (Descriptive type)

Sections of the descriptive test:
(i) Paper I – English
(ii) Paper II – Economic and Social Issues 
(iii) Paper III – Finance and Management.

Each of these papers is of 3 hours duration carrying 100 marks.
