T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) Manipal anticipates applications from interested and eligible candidates for its PGDM admission for the academic year 2014-16.This year the institute has introduced a new PGDM programme in Banking and Financial Services.PGDM programmes offered by TAPMI are two year full time academic programmes approved by AICTE and NBA. The newly introduced program is subject to the approval of AICTE.

TAPMI Manipal PGDM Admission Eligibility and Selection Procedure:


PGDM and PGDM – BKFS: Graduation (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) in any discipline, recognised by the AIU as eligible for Post Graduation, with not less than 50% overall aggregate marks. This applies to also those with professional qualifications like Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accounting and Company Secretary. Candidates appearing for final year degree examination may also apply. However such candidates, if selected by TAPMI, are required to produce proof of completion of graduation by the time they join the PGDM Programmes and submit their mark-lists and other testimonials within the stipulated date. Final year students may also apply.

Valid scores of CAT 2013, XAT 2014 and GMAT 2012 & 2013.

PGDM – Healthcare: A Graduate Degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) in medical / para-medical / pharma, recognised by the AIU as eligible for Post Graduation, with not less than 50% overall aggregate marks. Final year students may also apply.

Valid scores of CAT 2013, XAT 2014, GMAT 2012 & 2013 and MAT Sept & Dec 2013.

Admission Procedure:-

For Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and PGDM (BKFS):-

TAPMI uses two step procedure for admitting candidates to its PGDM Programmes. Valid CAT/XAT/GMAT scores are mandatory for candidates wishing  to qualify for the admission process consisting of Group-discussion / WAT / Personal Interviews or other evaluation components the Institute deems fit.

Based on score in CAT/XAT/GMAT and academic excellence, work experience, extra-curricular and clarity of purpose, candidates would be short-listed and invited to participate in the subsequent TAPMI Admissions Process (GD/PI). Final Selection will be based on overall performance in the TAPMI Admission Process.

For Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Healthcare (PGDM-HC)

TAPMI uses two step admission procedure for admitting candidates to the PGDM - Healthcare Programme. Valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT scores are mandatory pre-requisite to qualify for the admission process consisting of Group-discussion / WAT / Personal Interviews or other evaluation components the Institute deems fit.

Based on high scores in CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT and good profile with academic excellence, work experience, extra-curricular and clarity of purpose, candidates are short-listed and invited to participate in the subsequent TAPMI Admissions Process (GD/PI).

MIT School of Business Pune invites application from interested and eligible candidates for admission to its two year full time AICTE approved PGDM programmes for the academic year 2014-16.The learning model of these programmes is based on the case study method pioneered by the Harward Business School for its MBA programme.Graduates in any discipline from UGC recognized universities in India are eligible to apply. Same will be the case with respect to those who fail in their degree examination. CAT/MAT/XAT and CMAT scores are accepted for admission to Sri Balaji Society Pune PGDM Admission 2014-16

Candidates who fulfill the qualitative requirements will be called for the Group Discussions by expert panel. This will be for a duration of 30-45 minutes per group. This may include role play, case studies and extempore speech and GD. 40% of the weightage in the merit list will be given to the GD process. Therefore the GD process may extend to the second day although all efforts will be made to complete the process in one day. This is an elimination round.
