AFCAT Syllabus 2015


The AFCAT 2015 syllabus may seem basic however it fulfills its purpose of testing the intelligence of prospective aspirants in areas of general awareness, English language ability, numerical ability, and reasoning and most importantly basic aptitude and knowledge and aptitude of the air force. This test is conducted for selection of officers in the branches of the IAF

• Flying Branch (Short Service Commission)
• Technical Branch (Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission)
• Ground Duty Commission (Permanent commission and Short Service Commission)

The Air force Common Admission Test paper pattern consists of 100 questions. All questions will be of three marks each. There is no negative marking scheme for the AFCAT exam.

VERBAL ABILITY IN ENGLISH

NUMERICAL ABILITY
Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit and loss, Ratio & proportion and simple interest.
REASONING & MILITARY APTITUDE TEST
