MHT CET 2015 Exam Dates | Notification | Pattern

The clampdown of the NEET exam by the Supreme Court prompted the government of Maharashtra to conduct MHT CET Exam 2014 for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS,BHMS, BUMS, BPTh, BOTh,BASLP, BPO, B.Sc nursing and BPMT courses. These courses are the most sort after among medical colleges and institutes in Maharashtra. The government was prompted to take this decision also on account of the scores of applications that are received for admission. The exam will be held every academic year and is conducted by the DMER at the direction of the government of Maharashtra.

Eligibility:-

•Educational Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent in Science stream from a recognized university.

•Minimum aggregate
1.For MBBS,BAMS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing: 50 percent in subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40 percent in case of SC/ST)
2.For BUMS program: candidates are required to pass secondary examination with Urdu as a subject.
3.Candidates from outside Maharashtra are required to complete domicile criteria.

•Minimum age for admission- 17 years (as on 01st October of the year)
•Maximum age for admission- 25 years (as on 31 st December of the year)
•Relaxations in upper age limit: Upto five years in case of SC/ST candidates.

• STEP 05: Make payment of application fee

MHT CET Syllabus: 

The MHT CET Syllabus is the same syllabus prescribed for NEET UG Exam and covers topics of Class 10 and Class 12. 


MHT CET Paper Pattern:

•Duration: Three hours (180 minutes).
•Number of Questions: 180 (MCQ).
•Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions with four options.
•Subjects: Physics Chemistry and Biology.
•Total Marks: 720 marks.
•Marking: 4 marks for every right answer.
•Negative Marking: one mark will be deducted for a wrong answer
•Languages in which paper can be attempted: English, Marathi, Urdu and Hindi
