SRM University MCA programme is a seamless confluence of classroom training with industrial expertise and experience. The course pattern divided into six semesters over a period of three years is a perfect example of the same. Students are encouraged to take up special electives relating to the latest trends in computer applications. Based on the need of special electives the syllabi is framed and faculty is assigned for project.The evalution procedure is similar for all subjects.The total credits to be earned in this course is 115. Admission is based on eligibility and written test.Duration:- 3 years (Six semesters)
Eligibility:-
Candidates seeking admission to the MCA Degree program should have passed B.C.A. / B.E.S / B.Sc.(Computer Science) / Mathematics / Physics / Statistics/ Applied Sciences.
OR
B. Com/ Bachelor of Bank Management/ B.B.A./ B.L.M./ B.A.(CorporateSecretary ship / B.A.(Economics) / any other Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Business Mathematics and Statistics or Mathematics / Statistics in Main/Allied level
OR
B. Sc. Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics as allied subjects.
OR
B. E. /B. Tech
OR
A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects at the Higher Secondary level (i.e. in +2 level of the 10+2 pattern).
