RBI Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) Recruitment 2014 Notification, Application Procedure

Reserve Bank of India anticipates online applications from eligible and interested candidates for the post of  Junior Engineer (Civil)  and (Electrical) in RBI. A total of 23 vacancies have been notified for recruitment from various zone of the bank. Interested applicants can apply on or before 20/03/2014.

• At Bank branch: 01/02/2014 (Saturday) to 25/02/2014 (Tuesday)

Date of Online test:  30/03/2014 (Sunday)

Before applying for RBI Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) Recruitment 2014 please ensure that you fulfill the required eligibility criteria for the post

Eligibility Criteria:-

• Age: Candidates aged between 20 and 30 years of age are only eligible to apply [Candidates born between 02.01. 1984 and 01.01.1994 (both days included)are eligible to apply].

Age Relaxations:-

• Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC / ST) - By 5 years, i.e. up to 35 years.
• Other Backward Classes (OBC) - By 3 years, i.e. up to 33 years.

Educational Qualification:-

Junior Engineer (Civil): Candidate should posses any one of the following qualification:

1. Three years diploma in civil engineering from recognized university with minimum 65 % (55 % for SC/ST and PWD).
2. Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university with minimum 55% (45 % for SC/ST and PWD).

Junior Engineering (Electrical):  Candidates should posses any one of the following qualification:

1. Three years diploma in electrical or electrical and electronics engineering with minimum 65% (55% for SC/ST and PWD).
2. Degree in  Electrical or Electrical and Electronics engineering with minimum 55% (45% for SC/ST/PWD).

Experience:-

Junior Engineer (Civil):  Two year experience for diploma holders and one year experience for degree holders in

a. Execution and supervision of construction work.
b. Basic of RCC design and civil works
c. Working knowledge of computer and experience in preparation of tenders for civil work.

Junior Engineer (Electrical): 
Two year experience for diploma holders and one year experience for degree holders in

a. Execution and supervision of electrical installations in large buildings/ commercial buildings having HT/ LT substations, central AC plants, lifts, UPS, DG sets, CCTV, Fire alarm system, etc.

Procedure for Selection: Procedure for selection consists of online written test and interview.

The online exam for 200 marks will be conducted on 30.03.2014 (Sunday)

Candidates have to qualify in each part of the objective test separately.  There will be negative marking of ¼ for wrong answers.  The above test except English language section will be printed in English and Hindi respectively.
