IGIT Delhi Admission 2014-15 Date, Notification, Application Procedure
Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University, the first technical university for women invites application from women candidates for admission B.Tech. M.Tech, MCA and PhD programmes in different branches of engineering and technology for the academic year 2014-15. This university known for its superior student resources is also recognized for its excellent placement record. Interested applicants wishing to apply for IGIT Admission 2014 are required to apply before the last date marked for admission to various courses. Details of IGIT admission 2014-15 are as follows.
•M.Tech programmes: May 31, 2014 (Saturday)
•MCA programmes:April 10, 2014 (Thursday)
•PhD programmes: May 15, 2014 (Tuesday)
•B.Tech programmes: June 2014 (Tentative)

How to apply for IGIT Admission 2014-15 ?
a)Candidate may apply for admission through online or off line (OMR) application for M.Tech & Ph.D Programmes.
b) Prospectus and application form for IGIT Admission 2014 would be available for sale at various branches of Punjab and Sindh Bank in Delhi from March 20, 2014 (Thursday). The cost for both is Rs 750/-.
c) Online submission of forms for M.Tech and PhD programmes would commence from March 15, 2014 (Saturday).
d) Interested applicants can apply online on http://www.igdtuw.ac.in or http://www.igit.ac.in
IGIT Admission procedure 2014
1) B.Tech Programmes
•Candidates would be selected on the basis of JEE Main 2014 (score) and normalised score of class 12 exam.
•The merit list for centralized counselling will be prepared by CBSE.
2) M.Tech Programmes
• M.Tech (Regular): Based on merit cum GATE score.
• M.Tech (part-time): Applications are invited from working professionals.
• Lateral entry to M.Tech (part-time) program: Individuals with NIELIT ‘C’ level qualification are eligible to apply.
3) MCA Program
• Candidates are required to appear for CET Exam Code 105 conducted by GGS IP University
• The exam will be conducted on April 27, 2014 (Sunday) between 10:30 am to 01:00 pm
• Admission to this program shall be done through combined counselling conducted by GGSIP University.
4) PhD Programmes
• Admission shall be on the basis of Research Aptitude Test (RAT) or Interview or both.
• The RAT shall be conducted on 15th June 2014 at IGDTUW, Kashmere Gate Campus.
Seat Reservation for B.Tech Programmes
•85% of the total seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Delhi Region
•15% of the total seats for candidates belonging to outside Delhi Region.
•Admission to B.Tech program will be done through on- line counseling to be notified in June 2014 shortly.
