ITA welcomes applications from gainfully employed individuals for Indian Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2014. Graduates, gainfully employed or self-employed, aged between 18 and 42 years of age are eligible to apply for this recruitment of Officer in Indian Territorial Army. Serving employees of armed, police and paramilitary forces are not eligible to apply. The last date for submission of application in this respect at designated ITA headquarters is June 30, 2014 (Monday). The entrance exam for the same will be held on August 10,2014.

Eligibility Conditions:
• General Eligibility: Medically fit Indian male citizens and ex-servicemen are eligible to apply.
•Age: 18 to 42 years of age as on 30.06.2014.
•Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university.
•Employment: Gainfully employed in central govt/semi-government/private firm or own business/self employed.
Period of Training
- One month of basic training in first year of commission.
- Two months annual training camp every year (including the first year).
- Three months post commissioning training at IMA Dehradun within first two years of service.

Procedure of Selection for Indian Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2014
STEP 01: Applicants whose applications are found to be eligible will be called for Written Test and Interview.
The written test for ITA Officer Recruitment 2014 will be held on August 10,2014 (Sunday)
The test shall consists of two parts
PART 1: Short Essay
PART 2:- Objective type questions on General Awareness includes issues related to Political / Economical affairs, International
Situation and Sports.
STEP 02: Successful candidates will further undergo a Service Selection Board (SSB) and Medical Board for final selection.
