Here is an opportunity to join Army Dental Corps as Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officer. Indian Army has notified Indian Army Dental Corps Recruitment 2014 for which applications are invited from medically fit doctors with permanent dental registration certificate. Interested and eligible candidates wishing to apply are required to post their applications along with necessary enclosures to the Director General Armed Forces Medical Services, New Delhi latest by August 31, 2014 (Sunday).Important Dates for Indian Army Dental Corps Recruitment:-

a)Number of vacancies: 37
b) Eligibility:-
•BDS/MDS (with minimum 55% marks in final year BDS)from a college/university recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI).
•One year rotatory internship recognized by DCI by 31 August 2014.
•Permanent Dental Registration Certificate valid at least upto 31 December 2014.
•Less than 45 years of age as on 31 Dec 2014.
•Medically fit in all respects for service in the Armed Forces.

Procedure of Selection for Indian Army Dental Corps Recruitment:
•Shortlisting for interview
•Medical examination
Individuals found eligible will be short-listed based on their final year BDS marks and attempts taken in final year BDS. Short-listed candidates will be called for interview.
Individuals provisionally placed on merit list after interview by Selection Board will be brought before a Medical Board for ascertaining their Medical Fitness.
