Bihar TET 2014 Exam Dates | Notification | Pattern

Bihar TET is a state specific Teacher Eligibilty Test conducted by the Government of Bihar for recruitment of teachers in government as well as privately managed schools. The Bihar Elementary Teacher Eligibility Test (BETET) is a secure option for B. Ed aspirants wishing to teach classes I to VIII. Candidates who clear the BETET with a minimum aggregate of 60 percent marks are awarded BETET certificate. This certificate is a gateway of opportunities for aspirants in terms of teaching jobs in Bihar.

BETET Exam Date-

Eligibility

• Qualification for Teachers for classes I to V :

a. Senior secondary pass or pursuing or have completed a two year diploma in education.
b. Senior secondary pass pursuing or have completed 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
c. Senior secondary pass pursuing or have completed a two year diploma in education (special education).
d. BA/BSc with B.Ed
 
Aggregate- 45 percent aggregate in case of first three qualifications and 50 percent in case of last.
 
• Qualification for Teachers for Classes VI to VIII

a. BA/BSc is pursuing or have completed two year D.Ed.
b. Senior secondary/intermediate with 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
c. BA/Bsc Ed or BA (Ed) BSc (Ed) /B. Ed (Special Education).
 
Aggregate- 45 in case of first two qualifications and 50 percent in case of the last.

How to Apply:-

Step by Step Procedure for applying online for BETET

• STEP 1- Log on to official website of Bihar TET.
• STEP2-  Fill in registration form carefully.
• STEP 3- Check the form and if necessary make changes.
• STEP 4- Upload softcopy of passport sized photograph and signature.
• STEP5 – Click on Submit button to complete application process.
• STEP 6- Take two printouts of the registration page.
• STEP 7- Registration form along with photocopies of documents must be sent to the address mentioned.

Bihar TET Paper Pattern:

• Paper type- Multiple choice questions (MCQ’s)
• Number of Papers- 2
• Candidates wishing to teach  both primary and elementary classes are required to appear for both Paper I and Paper II.
• Marking- one mark for every correct.
• Please note there is no negative marking for the exam.
