RBI Research Officers, Assistant Manager and Manager Technical Civil Recruitment 2014 Notification, Application Procedure
Reserve Bank of India has released a combined advertisement for recruitment to the posts of a)Research Officers in Gr. ‘B’ for DEPR
b) Research Officers in Gr. ‘B’ for DSIM
c) Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) in Gr.A
d) Manager (Technical-Civil) in Gr. ‘B’
Interested applicants wishing to apply for RBI vacancies 2014 are required to submit their application or on before 17 February, 2014 (Monday). Procedure of selection consists of interview and written test. Candidates are requested to apply online through bank website www.rbi.org.in. No other mode for submission of application is available.

Research Officer in Grade 'B' for Department of Economic and Policy Research (DEPR)
Total Number of vacancies: 10
Educational qualification:-
a) Masters degree in Economics with minimum 55 % from recognized indian or foreign university.
b)Doctorate in Economics with master degree with miniumum 55 % from recognized indian or foreign university.
Age: 21- 30 years (born not earlier than 02.01.1984 and not later than 01.01.1993).
Research Officer in Grade 'B' for Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM)
Total number of vacancies: 05
Educational qualification:-
a) Masters degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Mathematical Economics/Econometrics/Statistics and Informatics from IIT Kharagpur or Applied Statistics from IIT Bombay with minimum 55 % from recognized indian or foreign university.
b) Masters degree in Mathematics with minimum 55 % from recognized indian or foreign university.
c) M.Stat degree of Indian Statistical Institute with minimum 55 % from recognized indian or foreign university.
Age: 21- 30 years (born not earlier than 02.01.1984 and not later than 01.01.1993).
Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) in Grade A
Total number of vacancies: 07
Educational qualification:-
a) Second class degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as a subject at Bachelors degree level.
b) Second class Masters degree in Sanskrit/Economics/Commerce with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelors degree level.
Age: 21- 30 years (born not earlier than 02.01.1984 and not later than 01.01.1993).
Manager (Technical - Civil) in Grade 'B'
Total number of vacancies: 02
Educational qualification:-
a) Bachelors degree (Civil Engineering) with minimum 60 % from recognized indian or foreign university.
Age: 21-35 years (born not earlier than 02.01.1979 and not later than 01.01.1993).

For Grade 'A' Officers -> Starting basic pay of Rs.17,100/-p.m. in the scale of Rs.17,100-1000(11)- 28100-EB-1000(4)-32100-1100(1)-33200/-
For Grade 'B' Officers -> Rs.21,000/- p.m. in the scale of Rs.21000-1000-30000-EB-1000-32000-1100-36400/-

Application Fee:-
General and OBC category candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. (Fee can be paid either online or offline).SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempt from payment of application fee.
Procedure of Selection:-
Selection will be through Written Examination ('WE') in the following two papers and Interview. 'WE' will be held in the month of March/April 2014.
•Paper-I Objective Type Test (Test of professional knowledge/ job knowledge) - 1 hour - 100 marks
•Paper-II Descriptive Type (Test Standard of the papers will be that of B.E. Degree) - 3 hours - 100 marks
•Total - 200 marks
