National Thermal Power Corporation Limited is in need of Assistant Chemist Trainee (ACT) and Accountant for its projects and power stations in India. Interested applicants wishing to apply for NTPC Assistant Chemist Trainee and Accountant Recruitment 2014 are required to apply or on before 10.02.2014 (Monday). Candidates will be selected based on performance in the online India online examination held streamwise and interview.

Eligibility Criteria:-

Assistant Chemist Trainee

• Educational Qualifcation:M.Sc (Chemistry) with minimm aggregate of 60 percent marks.
• Upper age limit: 27 years

Accountant

• Educational Qualifcation: Qualified Inter CA or ICWA
• Upper age limit: 30 years
• Educational Qualifcation:M.Sc (Chemistry) with minimm aggregate of 60 percent marks.
• Work experience: one year in related discipline.

How to apply:-


Interested candidates wishing to apply for NTPC Assistant Chemist Trainee and Accountant Recruitment 2014 are required to logon to www.ntpclcareer.com. Candidates are required to posses a valid email ID that will be valid during the entire process of registration. General and OBC category candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 300/- (SC/ST and PWD candidates are exempt from payment of application fee.

Application fee needs to be deposited through pay-in-slip in a specially opened account for the same (A/C no:30987919993) in any branch of the State Bank of India. On payment of cash the bank will issue a unique journal number and branch code. This unique journal number and branch code are required to filled in the online registration form.

After online application candidates are required to download registration slip genereated by the system with unique registration number. Copy of the registration slip must be retained for future reference. No documents are required to be sent by post.

Procedure of Selection: Procedure of selection consist of a online written test and interview.

Online Written Test: The All Indian online written test is scheduled for 13.04.2014. The test can be taken in either English or Hindi. The test will be in two parts. Part I will consist of 70 MCQ of relevant discipline while Part II will consist of 50 MCQ on English, Quantiative aptitude and reasoning.The duration of the test is two years. There is negative marking of 1/4 mark for a wrong answer.
