Qualification :-
• 2 to 10 years of experience supporting enterprise networks in a customer service role.
• Excellent communications, interpersonal and customer skills required.
• Certifications such as JNCIS, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE or equivalent are a plus.

-  In addition to the above the candidate must have a strong understanding of:
TCP/IP protocols and concepts

Working knowledge of:

- Ability to clearly guide customers through complex troubleshooting steps over the phone or in written form, sometimes in high pressure situations.
- Ability to own and drive high priority issues from technical and communication perspectives.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve various complex networking and routing issues.
- Ability to describe and isolate product defects from “working as designed” functionality.
- The ideal candidate should have a passion for the internet, its growth, network security and related new technologies.
- Ability to learn and integrate new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

You will also have to have:-

Working experience with traffic generators and network protocols analysis tools
Working experience in Network security, checkpoint, firewall, Cisco ASA,
Troubleshooting experience on Network Security devices such as firewall
Working experience with: Linux, FreeBSD, MacOS, Scripting languages (Tcl, Perl)
Practical knowledge of L1/L2 technologies: Ethernet, SONET/SDH, ATM, Frame Relay
Strong problem solving skills, applicable to large and complex network scenarios
Strong customer management and customer service skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Information Security Engineer

Job Location:- Bangalore, Chennai

Job Description:-

Management process -Thought leadership : Carry out research in order to provide Papers, POVs etc.

Sustain and Improve - Service level measurement : Provide inputs to Analyst related to time and effort requirements in order to define service levels.

Service Delivery -Security advisories : Contribute to tracking for patches which might be applicable for our environment. Contribute to testing of Patches at corporate environment and preparation of test reports in order to generate accurate internal advisories and forward the same to analyst for review

Service Delivery -Forensic analysis : Provide technical solution/assistance to the team during forensic analysis under guidance in order to find out any security compromise.

Service Delivery -Secure configuration standards : Assist the Analyst in preparation of sections of secure configuration standards for systems in order to ensure that the systems are not vulnerable.

Service Delivery - Network architectural review : Respond to the change order requests related to port and internet url review in order to ensure that the connections are secure.

Service Delivery -Information Security Metrics : Collect data from all Information Security domain/process owners and process them in order to prepare security metrics

Service Delivery -Information security incident management : Collect incident information and update the Security Incident Management System

Service Delivery - Information security pre-engagement support : Provide responses for sections of the RFP/MSA related queries sent by CSG/Legal under guidance in order to provide Infosys` perspective for the information security aspects in the RFP/MSAs.

Information Security awareness : Respond to security awareness related queries from employees at a first level in order to close the issues pointed out by employees.

Service Delivery - Technical audits : Conduct sections of the technical audits under guidance in order to verify that processes are effective in maintaining the systems, applications and devices as per the desired secure configuration, free of vulnerabilities.

Policy Definition - Development of processes and procedures for implementation of information security policies : Support the Analyst in documentation and updation of processes in order to ensure that processes are up to date.
