State Bank of India Limited's Central Recruitment and Promotion Department has announced Recruitment of Probationary Officers in Associate Banks of the State Bank of India. 

A total of 2,986 vacancies have listed under SBI Associate Banks PO Recruitment 2014-15. Apply online for for the post of  Associate Bank Probationary Officers (PO) on  www.sbi.co.in or www.statebankofindia.com. Online application for this latest SBI Recruitment 2015 for PO will be accepted from September 01, 2014 (Monday) to September 19, 2014 (Thursday).

 Selection procedure for SBI Associate Banks PO Recruitment 2014-15 will consist of written test, group discussion and interview. The other important details of this latest SBI Recruitment is as follows.

Important dates for SBI Associate Banks PO Recruitment 2014-15:-

•Online registration of application: September 01, 2014 (Monday) to September 19, 2014 (Thursday).
•Online Payment of application fee: September 01, 2014 (Monday) to September 19, 2014 (Thursday).
•Offline Payment of application fee: September 03, 2014 (Wednesday) to September 20, 2014 (Saturday).

a) Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree (Graduation) in any stream from a recognized university. 


b) Age Limit:- 21 to 30 years as on 01.09.2014 candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1984 and not later than 01.09.1993 (both days inclusive)




c) Age Relaxation


Compensation package: The starting basic pay is Rs 14, 500 in the scale of Rs 145, 00-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale I.

You are also required to pay application fee through one of the following modes. 

SBI Associate Banks PO Recruitment 2014-15 Application Fee:-
• General and OBC category candidates: Rs 500/- (application fee and intimation charges). 
• SC/ST/PWD category candidates: Rs 100/-(intimation charges only). 

a) Online mode : The payment can be made by using debit card/ credit card/Internet Banking.

b) Offline mode : The system will generate a cash voucher/ challan form pre-printed with the candidate’s details which will be required to be presented at any State Bank of India branch counter with the requisite fee. On payment of the requisite fee through computer generated challan form, registration of the online application will be complete.

Procedure of Selection for SBI Associate Banks PO Recruitment 2014-15: 
Aspirants will be selected based on performance in the 

• PHASE I: Written Test
• PHASE II: Interview and Group Discussion

PHASE I: Written Test :Examination consisting Objective Tests for 200 marks and DescriptiveTest for 50 marks.The Objective Test will be online. Immediately after the online Objective Test,

(i) Objective Test: The Objective Test with 2 hours duration consists of 4 Sections with
50 marks each (Total 200 marks) as follows:
a) Test of English Language (Grammer, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers
c) Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)

The candidates are required to qualify in each of the Tests by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.

(ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test with 1 hour duration (50marks) will be of “Test of English Language (comprehension, short précis, letter writing & essay)”.The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks,to be decided by the Bank.

PHASE II: Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks)
The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in both the Objective Tests and Descriptive Test will be arranged in descending order in each category. Adequate number of candidates in each category, as decided by the Bank will be called for Group Discussion and Interview.

Final Selection of candidates will be on the basis of performance in both phases. 

Call letters for Written Examination: Candidates should download their call letter and as an “acquaint yourself “ booklet by entering their registration number and password / date of birth, from 27.10.2014 from the Bank’s website. No hardcopy of the call letter/Acquaint yourself booklet will be sent by post.
