Karnataka CET 2015 Test Dates | Notification | Pattern

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) is a state wide assessment conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for first year of full-time medical, dental, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy, Yoga and B.Sc Agriculture, sericulture, Forestry, Horticulture, B.Pharma and B.Pharma courses. This is an independent government conducted CET used for admission to seats in certain engineering, medical and dental colleges in the state of Karnataka.

Eligibility for Karnataka CET

• Educational qualification: (Class 12) 2nd PUC with Maths and Physics and Chemistry, biotechnology and biology as optional subjects and English as language of study.
• Minimum aggregate: Minimum 45 percent in case of general category candidates
• Minimum aggregate: Minimum 40 percent in case of SC/ST/OBC category candidates.
• Applicants appearing for 2nd PUC are also eligible to KCET.

How to apply for Karnataka CET

The application forms for Karnataka CET can be obtained from the Office of Principal/Head of Institution of colleges accepting KCET score for admission. Completed application form can be submitted at respective schools of institutions. They can also be sent by speed post to the following address by the last date for form submission.

Application Fee for Karnataka CET:-

The application fee for Karnataka CET is Rs 650 (rupees six hundred and fifty) in case of general category candidates and Rs 500 (rupees five hundred) in case of SC/ST and category-1 candidates.

Payment of application fee can be done through cash of NEFT Transaction to the following bank account of Karnataka Examinations Authority. The account details is as follows

Applicants staying outside the Karnataka State including the Gadinadu and Horanadu applicants will have to first submit the form fee for KCET 2014 via NEFT transaction after which they will be sent the forms and brochure via email.

• Question type: Multiple choice type questions
• Sections: Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology
• Marking: One mark for every right answer.
• Negative marking: No
