Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Viswa Maha Vidyalaya is a deemed university at Kancheepuram was started in the year 1993 with the blessing of Pujyasri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal. The Ministry of Human Resources Development declared the institution a 'Deemed University' under Section 3 of the UGC Act.
