Indo Tibetan Border Police Force has announced recruitment for the post of Sub Inspector (Overseer) in General Central Service Group ';B'; Non Gazetted (Non Ministerial) grade of ITBP. The total number of vacancies notified under this latest ITBP Recruitment is 58. Interested and eligible candidates wishing to apply for ITBP Recruitment of the post of Sub Inspector (Overseer) 2014 are required to send their application on or before July 31, 2014 (Thursday). a)Post:Sub-Inspector (Overseer) For Male Only
b) Total number of vacancies: 58 (UR-28 SC-8 ST-6 OBC-16)
c) Payscale: Rs. 9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- (Pay Band - 2).
d) Age: Individuals aged between 20 and 25 years of age are eligible to apply (ie candidates born between 31-07-1989 and 31-07-1994 only).
e) Educational qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with a diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognizedby the Central Government.
f) Physical and Medical Standards:
a)For candidates belonging to ScheduledTribes (ST)
Height: 162.5 cms
Chest: 77-82 cms
b)For candidates falling in the categoriesof Garhwalis, . Kumaonis, Gorkhas,Dogras, Marathas and candidatesbelonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur,Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam,Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh &Ladakh regions of J&K

Medical Standard: The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes withoutcorrection i.e. without wearing of glasses.
How to apply for ITBP Recruitment of the post of Sub Inspector (Overseer) 2014:-
01. Eligible candidates are requested to fill out the application format and send it with passport size photograph duly attested by Gazetted Officer and attested copies of certificates mentioned in notification.
02. Envelopes used for application should be superscribed with the title “Application for the post of Sub Inspector (Overseer) in ITBP.”
03. Candidates also need to pay Pay Rs.25/- in the form of Indian Postal Order and Rejection Slip (original) issued by the Presiding Officer. RME fee in the form of IPO should be prepared in the name of Inspector General (Eastern) Frontier HQ, ITB Police.
