SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam 2014 Recruitment Notification, Application Procedure

"Attention all you graduates out there" Staff Selection Commission  will hold its annual Combined Graduate Level examination for recruitment to various posts in government organizations. Selection of candidates would be on the basis of written test, computer proficiency test, interview or skill test. Interested and eligible applicants wishing to appear for SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination 2014 can do so both online and offline.

TIER- 1 Written Examination (Objective multiple choice type)
TIER- 2 Written Examination (Objective multiple choice type)

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2014:



Educational Qualification:

a)Compiler: Graduation from recognized university with Economics, Mathematics or Statistics as compulsory or elective subjects.

b) Statistical Grade Investigator:
- Graduation with statistics as  main subject.
- Graduation with mathematics as main subject (should have studied statistics as subject in first, second or third year or all).
- Graduation with economics as main subject (should have studied statistics as subject in first, second or third year or all).
- Graduation with commerce as main subject (should have studied statistics as subject in first, second or third year or all).

For all other posts:


Graduation from recognized university or equivalent qualification.

Age:


a)For post of Inspector Income Tax (Central Excise)/Inspector (Prevention Officer)/Inspector (Examiner)/Inspector of Posts/Assistant Enforcement Officer/ Inspector CBN (Complier)/Divisional Accountants/Auditors/UDC's/Tax Assistants/Junior Accountant/Accountant/Sub Inspector (CBN): 18 to 27 years.

b) For Statistical Investigator Grade III: Candidates should be not more than 26 years of age (ie candidates should not have been earlier than 01.02.1987.

c) For Assistant Sub Inspector/ Sub Inspector CBI: Candidates should be aged between 20 and 27 years of age (ie candidates should have been born 02.01.1986 and 01.01.1993).

How to apply for SSC CGL exam 2014 ?


Interested and eligible candidates can apply either online or offline for SSC CGL Exam 2014.

Online: Candidates can apply online for SSC CGL exam on SSC official website www.ssconline.nic.in. Candidates are required to complete both Part I and Part II of registration before the stipulated dates for the same.

Offline: Applicants can also apply for SSC CGL exam by downloading the following SSC CGL 2014 application form. Fill in mandatory details and affix recent passport sized photograph. Sign in the space provided for the same. Application form along with attachment of necessary documents needs to be the address mentioned in notification.

SSC CGL Application Fee: The application fee for SSC CGL exam is Rs 100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, physically handicapped and ex-servicemen are exempt from payment of application fee.
