CRPF Head Constable (Ministerial) Recruitment 2014 Notification, Application Procedure

The wait is finally over. Central Reserve Police has announced that it would be accepting applications from interested and eligible candidates for CRPF Head Constable (Ministerial) Recruitment 2014. A total of 482 head constable vacancies have been notified for recruitment. The last date for sending applications in this respect is March 12, 2014.

Current vacancies

Post: Head Constable (ministerial)

• Organization: Central Reserve Police Force
• Total number of vacancies: 482 (Open market= 441, ex-servicemen= 41)
• Payscale:Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-

Eligibility conditions:-

•Age: Candidates aged between 18 and 25 years of age as on  12/03/2014 are eligible to apply.
•Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
•Educational qualification: Intermediate (10+2) exam from a board or university recognized by the central government in India.

•Physical standards:-

- All candidates (expect SC/ST): Male (165 cms), Female (155 cms)
- SC/ST candidates: Male (162.5), Female (150 cms)

Relaxation : Candidates falling in the categories of Garwalies, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the state of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir: Male (162.5 cms) Female (150 cms)

Chest (For male candidates only)

All except Scheduled Tribe candidates Unexpanded- 77 Cms (with minimum 5 Cms expansion)
Scheduled Tribes candidates Unexpanded- 76 Cms (with minimum 5 Cms expansion)

Weight: Proportionate/Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards. Over/under weight will be disqualification at the stage of medical examination only.

Medical Standard: Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, squint in eyes or varicose vein and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties

Visual Standard:-

The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other eye without correction i.e. without wearing glasses or lenses.
Color blindness is a disqualification.


How to apply for CRPF Head constable (Ministerial) Recruitment 2014:-


Interested and eligible candidates wishing to apply for CRPF Head Constable (ministerial) recruitment 2014 are required to apply in the prescribed format provided for application. Application form dulu completed in all respects, attached with latest passport sized photograph, signed and accompained with self attested photocopies of necessary documents need to be sent to the any of the following application receipt centers mentioned below.

Application fee for exam is Rs 100 payable in the form of demand draft or postal order drawn in favor of DIGP, GC. CRPF of concerned application centers.



Procedure of selection:-

Procedure of selection shall consists of two phases:

A. FIRST PHASE:-

Scrutiny/checking of certificates/documents
Physical Measurement
Written examination.

B. SECOND PHASE:-

Skill test ( i.e. Typing speed test)
Interview
Medical examination

The written examination will be of 200 marks consisting of following four parts:-

Part -I: Hindi/English Language
Part -II : General Intelligence.
Part -III: Numerical Aptitude.
Part -IV: Clerical Aptitude.

The questions will be of multiple choice types.

Skill Test:-

English Typing with minimum speed of 35 words per minute on computer OR
Hindi Typing with minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer

Note : 35 words per minute in English and 30 words perminute in Hindi correspond to 10500 key depressions per hour in English & 9000 key depressions per hour in Hindion an average of 5 key depressions for each word.
