Assam Agricultural University (AAU) was started in the year 1969 with regard to teaching, research and extension education in the field of agriculture and allied sciences. It aims to make provision for imparting education to the people in agriculture and other allied branches of learning and to further the advancement of learning and research in agriculture and other allied sciences.

How to apply:-
• Students can apply to University by collecting the prospectus cum application form from the university campus itself.
• All the documents, admission fees and form must be submitted by the applicants in the admin office on or before the last date.
Criteria for Admissions:-
• The original entry qualification of HSC/ Diploma Certificate or Degree or Provisional Certificate and a copy attested must be submitted during the time of admission.
• University has fixed some appropriate criteria for each of the courses offered by them; candidates need to follow them strictly.
• Admission in the university is concluded on the merit marks of the candidates.
Results:-
Results for the varied courses offered are generally announced depending upon the exams conducted. Students can view their results online through the official website of the university.
