GMAT Syllabus 2015
GMAT is a computer based management test taken all over the world. This exam is different from other management entrance tests in India as it measures the candidates proficency and knowledge in aspects of verbal and mathematical reasoning as well as analytical skills. This test aids management institutes and B-schools in understanding applicants ability and aptitude for higher management education.
Quantiative Section- The Quantiative section of GMAT section is aimed at testing the applicant’s ability to reason. This section contains quantitative problems and interpretation of graphic data and contains two types of multiple choice questions that is problem solving and data sufficiency. This section deals with questions in mathematics, algebra and geometery.
Verbal Section- The verbal section of the GMAT paper measures an applicants ability to read and comprehend written material. At the same time it also tests the candidates ability to reason, evaluate and communicate efficienctly in the standard written language of English. The three types of questions in the section include
a) Reading
b) Comprehension
c) Critical Reasoning
Intergrated Reasoning Section- The intergrated reasoning section contains questions of reasoning and data interpretation. The type of questions in the section includes Table analysis, graphic interpretation, multisource reasoning and two part reasoning.
