Barkatullah University (BU) is a university in Bhopal and is the main university of the capital city and provides degrees to most of the non-technical colleges in and around Bhopal. Funded by the state government, the university has a residential campus and serves as affiliating university for colleges of seven other districts.

How to apply:-
• Students can apply to Barkatullah University by downloading the admission form from the official website of the university or one can collect the prospectus cum application form from the university campus itself.
• Duly filled form, registration fees, required certificates and other documents must be submitted to the office on or before the last date of the submission.
• Registration fees vary for the different course chosen.

Criteria for Admissions:-
• The original entry qualification of HSC/ Diploma Certificate or Degree or Provisional Certificate and a copy attested must be submitted during the time of admission.
• Eligibility rules as specified for each course shall be strictly followed and shall not be relaxed under any circumstance.
• Admission will be done strictly on the merit basis of the students.

Barkatullah University campus is placed in the city of lakes Bhopal along Jabalpur-Jaipur National highway which rambles over an area of 360 acres of green land. the campus includes Administrative Block, Library Block, Hostel Building, Guest House, Institute of Open and Distance Education, Post office, a branch of the State Bank of India, Printing press, faculty club, Institute of Management Building, Department of Pharmacy and University Institute of Technology, etc.

• Barkatullah University has been accredited as a B category university by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
