West Bengal Health Recruitment Board is accepting online applications from eligible and interested individuals for recruitment to the following post in Medical Technologist cadre of West Bengal Sub-ordinate Health services under Health and Family Welfare Department of the Government of West Bengal. A total of 971 vacancies have been notified for recruitment. Eligibility:-
01. Medical Technologist(Lab) Gr. III
-Essential:-
Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or its equivalent with subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two year diploma course in Laboratory Technology recognized the government of West Bengal.
OR
One year diploma course in Laboratory Technology from any university/ institution recognized by the Government of West Bengal; The basic qualification for undergoing the said course is B.Sc
-Desirable:One year training after diploma in Laboratory Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Government Hospital or in a clinical establishment licensed under the West Bengal clinical establishment rules, 2003.
02. B.Medical Technologist [X-Ray (Radiodiagnostics) ]Gr. III:-
-Essential:-
Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or its equivalent with subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two year diploma Course in Radiography (Diagnostics) DRD (Tech) recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
-Desirable:- One year training after acquiring diploma in Radiography ( Diagnostics ) DRD (Tech) recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Government hospital or in a clinical establishment licensed under the West Bengal clinical establishment Rules,2003.
OR
A Postgraduate Diploma in Radiography (Diagnostics) DRD (Tech) from any recognized university.
03.Medical Technologist(ECG) Gr. III
-Essential:-
Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or it’s equivalent with subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two year diploma in ECG technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
Desirable:-
One year training after acquiring a diploma in ECG Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal in any Government Hospital or in a clinical establishment licensed under the West Bengal clinical establishment rules, 2003.
OR
A postgraduate diploma in ECG Technology from any recognized University.
Age as on 1st. January, 2014:-
Applicants aged between 18 and 40 years are eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation:-
•05 years for SC/ST candidates of West Bengal
•03 years for BC candidates of West Bengal
•upto 45 years for persons with disabilities
