NMAT exam is directed by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management (NMIMS) for admission to general and specialized MBA courses (Capital Marketing, Banking and Pharmaceutical Management) at its Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad campuses.
The exam is special from other management entrance tests such as CAT/CMAT/MAT and XAT as it allows you to
a) Schedule date and time of your test as per your convenience.
b) take a maximum of three attempts (in such your best score will be considered for admission).

Eligibility for NMAT 2015:
(a)MBA, MBA (Marketing) and (Capital Market): Graduation from a recognized university in [10+2+3/4] with minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks in the first attempt.
(b) MBA (HR): Graduation from a recognized university in [10+2+3/4] with minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks in the first attempt.
(c) MBA (Pharmaceutical Management):
• Full time Bachelors degree [10+2+3/4] Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, Medical doctors MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc. and M.Sc.in Biotechnology from UGC recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks in the very first attempt.
• Candidates with B.E. or B.Tech. are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates working in pharmaceutical companies for more than two years are also eligible to apply.
(d) PGDM (Bengaluru and Hyderabad)
Full time bachelors degree [10+2+3/4] (graduation) from a recognized university in India with minimum aggregate of 50 % marks in the first attempt.
Persons who have completed their graduation through distance learning or part-time are not eligible to apply for NMAT 2015.
NMAT 2015 Test Centers:
Following is a step by step procedure for applying for NMAT 2015.
STEP#01: Logon to www.nmat.org.in.
STEP#02: Click on the link "Register for NMAT 2015 exam."
STEP#03: You will be directed to a new window with NMAT 2015 online application form.
STEP#04: An authentication e-mail will be sent to you (you will be able to proceed only after validating this e-mail).
STEP#05: Fill details in the online application form carefully.
STEP#06: Read terms and conditions (T&C) and click on " I agree" button.
STEP#07: Check through the details you have entered in the online application
STEP#08: Click on "Submit" button.
STEP#09: Pay application fee for successful registration of NMAT
Payment of application fee
Payment of application fee for NMAT exam can be done through
a) Credit card: You can pay fee directly through Visa Card or Credit Card. Please follow the instructions provided for the same on the website.
b) Cash at bank: You can also chose to pay application fee for NMAT through cash. For this you are required to select the option of payment through HDFC Bank and take printout of HDFC Bank payment slip. The payment slip consists of two parts. One is for your record and the other for the bank. On payment of cash, the bank will return to you one part of the slip. Please note that this slip is not be sent to NMIMS.
c) Demand draft: You can also chose to make payment of NMAT application fee through demand draft (DD). You can visit any bank and get a demand draft issued in favour of "SVKM's NMIMS" and payable at "Mumbai." You are requested to write your name, registration number and selected program (s) on the back side of the demand draft.
In this mode you are required to select mode of payment as DD in the 'Make Payment Tab' and click on the 'Submit' button after filling the required DD details. A printout of the payment advice form is to signed and sent along with the DD to the following collection center.

STEP#10: If you wish to make payment at a later stage then you would be required to do with your created login ID.
STEP#11: After successful submission of application form you will receive your "NMAT 2015 ID"
STEP#12: After application is duly accepted with fee you will receive an email with your username and will be required to login to www.pearsonvue.com/nmims to schedule your test.
