Did you know: The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism of Government of India. NCHMCT consists of 21 central institutes of Hotel Management, 14 state government and 15 private institutes of hotel management. Apart from these there are also five food craft institutes located in different parts of the country that offer diploma programmes in specific operational areas.

Eligibility:-
• Educational Qualification: 10+2 (intermediate) from recognized board with English as one of the subjects.
• Candidates appearing for Class 12 or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE on provisional basis.
• These candidates are required to produce proof of having passed class 12 exam or equivalent at the time of admission and counseling.
• Aggregate: 50 percent (Minimum aggregate).
• Aggregate for reserved category candidates: 40 percent (minimum aggregate).
• Minimum Age: 17 years.
• Maximum Age: 22 years.
• Relaxation in upper age limit: Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years in case of SC/ST and other category candidates.
How to Apply:-
You can apply both online as well as offline for the NCHMCT 2014.
Online:-
• Log on to NCHMCT Official website.
• Click on “Online Registration and Choice Filling.”
• New candidates are required to register hence click on “New Candidate Register Link” and click on “Register.”
• Register by entering important information and choose user ID and password.
• Once this is done login with Login ID and password.
• After login your personal details will be displayed on screen. You are required to verify these details.
• After doing so click on Submit button to complete registration.
• During the process you are also required to make payment of application fee.
• Print of the application form with self generated application number needs to be sent to JEE Cell, National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, A-34, Institutional Area Sector – 62, NOIDA (UP) - 201309
Offline:-
• Download application form from website. These forms are also for sale at NCHMCT Office Noida and 52 affiliated Institutes of Hotel Management across the country.
• Fill in application form.
•Make payment of application fee.
• Send the application form along with copies of necessary documents to JEE Cell, National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, A-34, Institutional Area Sector – 62, NOIDA (UP) – 201309.

NCHMCT JEE Paper Pattern:
• Total Duration: Three hours (180 minutes)
• Total Marks: 200 marks
• Negative Marking: 0.25 for every wrong answer.
