Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) of the Department of Space (DOS) has notified recruitment for the post of Assistant (administrative support staff) for its various ISRO centers and units across India. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply online on www.isro.gov.in. Online application for this recruitment will be accepted between July 17, 2014 (Thursday) and August 07, 2014 (Thursday). Selection of candidates will be on the basis of performance in the written test, which will be conducted on October 12, 2014 (Sunday).The other important details of this recruitment is as follows. Eligibility Criteria:-
a) Age limit as on 07/08/2014: Individuals aged between 18 and 26 years of age are eligible to apply for ISRO Assistant Recruitment 2014.
b) Relaxations in upper age limit:
SC/ST candidates = 31 years
OBC candidates = 29 years
Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried; Meritorious Sportspersons are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
c) Educational qualification: Graduation in Arts/Commerce/Management/Science/Computer Applications with first class as declared by the university with knowledge in use of computers.
How to apply for ISRO Assistant Recruitment 2014?:-
01.Online application for ISRO Assistant Recruitment 2014 will be accepted between July 17, 2014 (Thursday) and August 08, 2014 (Thursday).
02. You are requested to provide a valid email-ID that you check regularly.
03. On sucessful registration of application you will receive an online registration number which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
04. The application fee for this recruitment is Rs 100/- (rupees one hundred only)
05. After registration of application on-line, you will have to down-load and print the personalized payment challan form, in triplicate, from the ISRO system/link which will contain the Name of the candidate, Registration Number, Receipt Account Number, Advertisement No. and Post Code.
06. You are required to visit the nearest branch of State Bank of India for remittance of application fee to Receipt Account No.32034064593 by using the personalized payment challan of State Bank of India on any day between 17-07-2014 and 08-08-2014.
07. Out of the two challan parts, you have to send one part of the challan form [ISRO copy] to Administrative Officer (ICRB), ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore -560 094 by ';ORDINARY POST ONLY'; superscribing on the envelope "ICRB - RECRUITMENT OF ASSISTANT" within 7 days of filing of application and in any case not later than 14-08-2014.
Procedure of Selection:-
Candidates would be selected for ISRO Assistant Recruitment 2014 based on performance in written test.
