NALCO has notified Recruitment of Graduate Engineers through GATE 2014. A total of 125 Graduate Engineer Trainees(GETs) in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Metallurgy, Civil, Mining, Chemical and Computer Science have been notified for recruitment. Interested and eligible wishing to apply are required to do so online on NALCO';s official website between between May 25, 2014 (Sunday) and June 30, 2014 (Monday).

15 posts are reserved for PWD [OH(05)and HH(10)]as per Govt. of India directives including backlog vacancies. These posts are identified for Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Civil, Chemical and Computer Science as and where applicable as against horizontal reservation as per government guidelines.
Age Limit as on as on 30.06.2014:- The upper age limit is 30 years.
Qualification:-
•Full time regular Bachelor';s Degree in Engineering or Technology with not less than 65% marks in aggregate for unreserved(UR) & Other Backward Class(OBC) and 55% of marks for SC/ST/PWD category taking average of all the semesters/years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester/year by the Institute/University.
•For Computer Science discipline, candidates having three years full time regular course in Master’s Degree in Computer Application (MCA) with 65% of marks in aggregate for Unreserved(UR) & Other Backward Class(OBC) and 55% marks in aggregate for SC/ST/PWD in both graduation and post graduation level are also eligible to apply.
(The total maximum marks and total marks obtained for all years/semesters will be summed up to arrive at aggregate percentage. No rounding off will be done and no weightage will be given to any particular semester or year).

Candidates need to apply online on NALCO';s official website indicating their GATE-2014 registration number in the career section of NALCO website(www.nalcoindia.com). Application without valid GATE-2014 registration number will be outrightly rejected. Candidates should click on the online application link, read the instructions carefully and fill-in the online application form giving accurate information.
Selection Procedure:-
NALCO will consider Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2014 (GATE- 2014 scores) for recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET';s) in the disciplines mentioned above. Only GATE 2014 score will be considered for this recruitment process. Based on the GATE- 2014 score and organisational requirement, candidates will be shortlisted for personal interview.

The bank's Central Recruitment and Promotion Department has announced the conduct of an all India examination for this recruitment. SBI Assistant in Clerical Grade Recruitment
•Total Number of Vacancies: 5,092 (General- 2690, SC- 760, ST- 463, OBC- 1179)
•Age: Candidates aged between 20 and 28 years of age are eligible to apply.
•Relaxations in upper age limit:
a)SC/ST - 5 years
b)Other Backward Classes (OBC) - 3 years
•Educational qualification:
a) Graduation (Degree) from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification as recognized by the central or state government.

SBI Assistants in Clerical Cadre Exam Pattern:-
The SBI Assistants in Clerical Cadre Exam Pattern shall consist of the following sections
(i) General Awareness
(ii) General English
(iii) Quantitative Aptitude
(iv) Reasoning Ability
(v) Marketing Aptitude/ Computer Knowledge.
• Medium of examination: English and Hindi (except for general english section)
• Marks for each test: 40 marks
• Total Marks: 200 marks
• Duration: 2 hours and 15 minutes
• Negative marking: 1/4 marks
The passing marks in each of the tests will be decided by the Bank on the basis of the performance of all the competing candidates taken together in each test to a minimum required level. Candidates are also required to score a minimum percentage marks in aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon) for being considered for interview.Minimum percentage marks on aggregate will be decided by the bank.
Procedure of Selection: Final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of performance in online test and interview taken together.
