Indian Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2014 Notification, Eligibility and Application Procedure

• Date of Written Examination: February 09, 2014 (Sunday)
Current Opportunity:-
• Post: Army Officer
• Organization- Indian Territorial Army (ITA)
• General Condition- Male Indian citizen (ex-servicemen officers who are medically fit).
• Age-Candidates aged between 18 and 42 years of age are eligible to apply.
• Education- Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
• Employment- Gainfully employed in central government/semi government/private organization or self employed.
• Note: Employees in service in police and paramilitary forces are not eligible to apply.
Period of Training:-
• One month basic training in the first year of commission.
• Two months annual training camp every year including the first year.
• Three months post commissioning training within first two years at IMA Dehradun.
Syllabus for Written Test:-
• Part I- Short Essay
• Part II- Objective Type Question on General Awareness on political and international affairs, international situation and sports.
Procedure for Application:-
1. You can obtain application form from Employment Newspaper.
2. Application form can also be downloaded from www.indianarmy.gov.in.
3. The following needs to be filled with important details and sent along with self addressed envelope of 28x12 cms with two passport sized photographs and postal stamp worth Rs 12/- (Rs 25/- in case of JK) and sent to the respective TA headquarter.
