Eligibility for JAIIB Exam 2015:

1. The exam is open to candidates working in banking and financial institutions.
2. Candidates must have passed matriculation or its equivalent. The institute may however allow candidates working in clerical or supervisory cadres to appear for the examination on the recommendation of manager if the person is not a matriculate.
3. Subordinate staff of recognized and subordinate banking and financial institutions are eligible to apply for the exam provided they have passed matriculation exam. 


How to apply for JAIIB Exam 2014:-

Interested applicants wishing to apply for JAIIB Exam are required to apply online on JAIIB official website www.iibf.com. Following is step by step online application procedure for JAIIB exam.

If you wish to apply for JAIIB Exam 2015 you are required to be an ordinary member of the IIBF.

• STEP 1: Log on to www.iibf.com
• STEP 2: Login using user ID and password.
• STEP 3: Fill JAIIB online application form.
• STEP 4: Check application details carefully before submission.
• STEP 5: You will be asked to confirm application details.
• STEP 6: Once this is done you will directed to payment window.
• STEP 7: Make payment of application fee.
• STEP 8: You will receive confirmation SMS confirming registration and payment of application fee.

Application Fee for JAIIB Exam
• First block of 2 attempts: Rs 2697/-.
• Second block of 2 attempts: Rs 2697/-.

Payment of JAIIB 2014 application can be paid through either debit/credit card or net banking facility.

JAIIB 2014-15 PASSING CRITERIA:-

i) Pass: Minimum marks for pass in every subject- 50 out of 100 marks
(ii) Candidate securing at least 45 marks in each subject with an aggregate of 50% marks in all subjects of JAIIB examination in a single attempt will also be declared as having passed JAIIB Examination.

Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU OPENMAT 2014

• Educational Qualification:-

a) Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
b) Professional degree in Engineering/Medicine/Chartered Accountancy/Cost and Works Accountancy(ICWAI),Company Secretaryship (CS) and Law.
c) Non-Graduates with 6 years’ Supervisory/ Managerial/ Professional experience are eligible to apply for Diploma in Management (DIM) only.

• Work Record: Three years of managerial/supervisory/professional experience.

• Aggregate:-

a) 50 percent marks in case of general category candidates.
b) 45 percent marks in case of reserved category candidates.

• Age Bar:There is no age bar for candidates.

Notes for Eligibility:-

• All Programmes are offered in English.
• Supervisory experience means that the person is in the supervisory cadre and supervising or looking after the
• work of a minimum of six subordinates reporting to him/her.
• Managerial experience means that the person is entrusted with decision making responsibilities.
• 'Experience’ means work experience of a person after acquiring the qualifications as specified above.

Important instructions

• No fee has to be sent with (OPENMAT FORM-1) if the form has not be downloaded from website.
• In case the application form has been downloaded from website you are required to draw a demand draft in favor of ‘IGNOU’ payable at New Delhi to be sent along with the form.

Application fee: The application fee for OPENMAT is Rs 1500 (one thousand five hundred only) per course which can be paid through demand draft in favor of IGNOU and payable at Delhi or regional center. Please write your name, enrollment number and address on the reverse side of the demand draft.
