Age: Candidates not more than 27 years of age as on 17/02/2014 are eligible to apply.
Relaxation in upper age limit as per prescribed by the government is as follows:
• SC/ST candidates: 05 years.
• OBC candidates: 03 years.
Educational Qualification:-
1. Matriculation (Class 10) pass or equivalent from recognized board or institution.
2. Knowledge of local language or dialect as specified in notification.
3. Field Experience in intelligence work.

• The online application form is divided into two parts. Part I relates to personal, academic and other particulars of the candidate.
• Part II of the online registration deals with modes of fee payment.
Part I
• Candidates are required to upload passport size photograph (not exceeding 20 KB) and signature (not exceeding 10 KB).
• Before submission of online application please check details and information submitted carefully.
• Take a print out of registration slip on submission of application.
• Note down registration number and roll number for future reference.
• You are not required to submit hardcopy of application.
• Please check your email account regularly for exam updates.
Examination Fee: Rs.50/- (RUPEES FIFTY ONLY) for General & OBC candidates (male). However, woman candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe are exempted from payment of fee.
MODE OF PAYMENT:-
OFFLINE PAYMENT:-
You can pay the application fee by deposit of cash (offline payment) at any branch of State Bank of India using the Challan form (available in part-II of the online application). A counterfoil of this Challan would be given back to the candidate by the bank, indicating the transaction ID, which may be retained by the candidates.
ONLINE PAYMENT (Internet Banking and ATM-Cum-Debit Card):
Payment of fee can also be done through internet banking facility of State Bank of India or State Bank ATM- cum-Debit card. Once the online payment option is selected you would be automatically guided to the website of State Bank of India and after paying the fee through a user friendly interface. You would be guided back to the registration form/website and a confirmation of the same would be immediately be flashed onscreen.
PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:-
Procedure of Selection consists of written test, local language and personality test. Final selection of candidates will be on the basis of character and antecedent verification followed by medical examination.
