Jamia Hamdard is a university located in New Delhi and came into existence in the year 1989. It was conceived as a seat of higher learning in Unani Medicine, Islamic Studies, Biosciences, Pharmacy, Nursing and other areas of knowledge by its founder as a means of fulfilling the objects of the wakf.

Criteria for Admissions:-
• Applicants applying for any of the course in the university will be given admission on his/ her merit marks.
• The original entry qualification of HSC/ Diploma Certificate or Degree or Provisional Certificate and a copy attested must be submitted during the time of admission.
• All the eligibility rules fixed for each of the programmes must be tracked by the aspirants applying for it.
