Mangalore University (MU) incorporated in the year 1980 is a public university in Mangalore. It imparts higher education in field of arts, commerce, science, law and management. It is the first university in the country to start Bachelor's degree programmes in Hotel Management & Tourism, Fashion Design, Apparel/Garment Design, Leather Design & Technology, and Human Resource Development and post-graduate programmes in Computer Software and Yogic Sciences.

Criteria for Admissions:-
• Admission in the university is concluded on the merit marks of the candidates.
• The original entry qualification of HSC/ Diploma Certificate or Degree or Provisional Certificate and a copy attested must be submitted during the time of admission.
• University has fixed some appropriate criteria for each of the courses offered by them; candidates need to follow them strictly.
Results:-
