Tumkur University was founded in the year 2004 as a multi-faculty university, it has 12 postgraduate departments, 2 constituent colleges and 94 affiliated colleges. It has an objective to transform guiding vision into action plan through a band of community of teachers who are professionally competent and conscientiously upright.
