The Directorate of Distance education of Alagappa University offers Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) through distance mode. The duration of the course is three years. Admission is also offered for BCA (lateral entry to the second year). The minimum eligibility for candidates for lateral entry scheme is a three year diploma in computer engineering/EEE/ECE/IT from a recognized university. Common eligibility for the course is HSC (class 12) or a three year diploma from a recognized university. Admission is based on merit. The university wide network of study centers facilitates personal contact programmes as well as provides hands on training for computer practicals.Duration:- 3 years
