The Centre for Distance Education (CDE) of Bharathidasan University (BDU) was founded in the year 1992 for imparting education in distance mode. About AIIMS MBBS 2014:-

The medical stream is an important part of the trinity of professional careers in India after engineering and law. There are different courses offered by central as well as private medical universities in India. Admission to these courses is made on the basis of performance in the entrance exam conducted at the national level or by particular institutes.

The AIIMS entrance exam administered by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences is the largest and by far the most popular of medical exams after the national level entrance test. As many as 60,000 aspirants slug it out each year to secure admission to 50 seats offered at the medical college. Cracking the exam is by no means an easy task however it is not impossible either.

Did you know- AIIMS are  autonomous institutes of national importance. These institute award their own academic degrees and certifications. AIPVT 2015 Exam Dates | Notification | Pattern

About AIPVT 2015:

AIPVT 2015: All India Pre-Veterinary 2015 directed by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) is a paper-pen based entrance test directed for admission to 15 percent of seats in first year B.V.Sc and A.H. courses in VCI and UGC approved Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry Colleges in India. This exam is accepted throughout the country,with the only exception being the state of Jammu and Kashmir. 

Veterinary science and animal husbandry as a stream of study and profession is yet to receive its due. However over the years there has been considerable change in approach as well in outlook. One part of this change has been the formation of the Veterinary Council of India and second the conduct of the AIPVT exam. AIPVT or All India Pre-veterinary exam has standardized the scheme of admission for first year programs in veterinary science and animal husbandry. In doing so it has offered a new lease of life for the course and has rendered due prominence to this professional stream of medical science.

The information bulletin and application form can be obtained by post from controller of examination, Veterinary Council of India, A Wing, 2nd Floor, August Kranti Bhavan, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi 110066 by sending a demand draft of Rs 1600/- for General/OBC category and Rs 850/- for SC/ST category in favour of "Veterinary Council of India Examination Fund" payable at New Delhi on any Scheduled Bank.

Application form duly filled and signed by the candidate should reach the office of the council before the last date for form submission.

 Application form should be submitted through Speed/Registered Post only.
AIPVT Colleges  

Eligibility for AIPVT 2015:- 

•Qualification-Class 12 science stream with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths. 
•Aggregate-  50 percent in case of general category candidates.
•Relaxation in aggregate- 40 percent in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates.
•Age- Applicants aged between 17 and 25 years as on 31st December of the following year are eligible to apply for AIPVT 2015.

How to Apply for AIPVT 2015? 

Candidates who are interested in getting the information brochure and application forms through the Post, must send a demand draft of Rs 1600 (Rs 850 for reserved categories) drawn in the favour of the "Veterinary Council of India- Examination Fund", payable at New Delhi. 

 The Demand Draft should be sent at the following address:- Controller of Examination, Veterinary Council of India, ‘A’ Wing, 2nd Floor, August Kranti Bhawan, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi-110066.

 While requesting for  information bulletin and application form by post the candidate is required to send
  • Demand draft of Rs 1600 for general (Rs 850 for SC/ST category). Payment through any other mode will not be accepted. 
  • Demand draft prior to the date of advertisement will not be accepted. 
  • Two plain paper slips with name and address (in capital letters) with pin code.

Anna University Distance Education Admissions 2014


For MBA and MCA course, candidates have to appear for entrance test which is conducted twice a year, once in July and the other in January. Admissions are strictly done on the basis of Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET).

How to apply:-

• Aspirants willing to seek admission in Anna University Distance Education can apply through online process, for which forms are available on the official website of the university.
• Duly filled form, admission fees and required documents must be submitted by the candidates on or before the last date of submission.
• Application Fees: Rs. 900/-

Aspirants can deposit the admission fees as well as any other fees through Demand Draft of any bank drawn in favour of "Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University Chennai"

Fees for various courses:-

An approximate fee for any of the courses in Anna University Distance Education is Rs. 18,000 to 20,000/- It varies according to the subject selected.

• University provides Study Centers for the distance learners in some of the accustomed college or university in Chennai as well as outside Chennai which would help them to utilize the campus as well as some of the academic facilities.
• Study Material is provided by the university which covers maximum of the syllabus. Students can get this material from the office of any study centre after admissions.
• 12 days contact classes are arranged during March to July and September to January for the students on the basis of their semesters.

About ATMA 2014:-
ATMA is distinctive from other management tests in India. Administered by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) the test does not stress on knowledge in the subject areas of business or management nor does it measure achievement in these specific streams. Rather it is a simple objective aptitude test that accesses ability for higher management education. Approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India this credible and comprehensive test is used for admission to MBA, PGDM and post graduates programs like MCA based on the rules of the regulations of the concerned university.

Colleges under ATMA:-
Following is a list of Colleges under ATMA. These colleges are also known as participating institutes who accept ATMA score for admission to its MBA and PGDM programs.These colleges and institutes are situated all over the country. AIMS declares the list of participating universities before the exam.

Did you know- As per Government of Maharashtra directive, ATMA Score is valid for admissions against 15% OMS quota and 20% institute level seats for all the institutes offering MBA/MMS.

ATMA Eligibility:
  • Educational Qualification- Graduation in any stream or its equivalent in 10+2+3 scheme from a recognized university.
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.
  • Essential- Must be an Indian citizen.

How to apply for ATMA 2014

·   STEP 01- Log on to ATMA official website.

·   STEP 02- Locate fee distribution of collection center nearest to you.

·   STEP 03- Pay the exam fee.

·   STEP 04- proceed to fill ATMA online application form.

·   STEP 05- Fill the form carefully and submit the same.

·   STEP 06- Note the registration number generated on successful submission of application.

·   STEP 07- Take two printouts of the online application form.
