How to apply:-
• Aspirants interested in taking admission in this university can collect the prospectus cum application form either from the university admin office or from its recognized study centers.
• Duly filled application form, admission fees and required documents with attested copies must be submitted to the office on or before the last date of submission.
• Application fees: Rs. 500/-

• Aspirant of any age can apply for the distance learning courses but must fulfill the eligible criteria for relevant course.
• Admissions will be strictly done on the basis of eligibility and no cut-off marks will be considered for any of the courses.
• To apply for any of the offered course there is a different criterion.

Special Features:-
•The Educational Media Centre (EMC) has produced 325 Audio lessons and 8 Video Programmes of its own. It has also procured 68 Video programmes produced by other institutions to be shown during the PCPs to the students. Students can get duplicate Audio Lessons on the blank cassettes. The centre also provides teaching Aid Materials and Equipments to the faculty of the Department.
• It has established a small Computer Lab with 20 Computers to facilitate lesson production and has provided library facilities.
• To give academic guidance, best printed study material is handed to their students which are being prepared by the experts.
Results:-
Results for the varied courses are generally announced depending upon the exams conducted. Students can view their results online through the official website.

About:-
The University School of Open Learning (USOL), Panjab University was founded in the year 1971 with an aim to take university based education beyond the four walls of the University. The USOL offers 28 courses i.e. Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma and Professional Courses. Some innovative and socially relevant Courses such as Certificate Course in Vivekanand Studies, Diploma in Human Rights and a Diploma in Naturopathy & Yoga have been recently introduced.
