This exam is not a cakewalk, a simple yet effective mantra for AIPMT preparations is to make the most of your strengths and work hard on weaker areas. Joining a coaching institute is a good option as it instills a spirit of confidence and competitiveness as you approach the examination. If you are confident of self study then joining a coaching institute for mock test series is not a bad idea either. Preparation is individual specific hence plan and prepare for the exam in the manner that best suits your type. Tips:-
• Delegate sufficient amount of time for studying all three subjects of the exam. Yet again work on your strengths and weakness in the capacity that is required.
• Instead of cramming or rote learning formulae try to understand them. If you still have a problem in doing so learn these formulae by solving related sums.
• Start study with subjects that if you find difficult.
• Prepare yourself in such a manner that you are able handle questions framed in different ways.
• Time management is a must so try to solve as many sample papers as possible.
• While solving papers solve easier questions first and then delegate time for the tough ones.
• Stick to your study plan and most all be relaxed and focussed.
