These openings are in disciplines of Chemical engineering, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation engineering. For GATE 2014:-
• The date for processing the GATE online Application: 02-09-2013.
• The last day for enrolling for the exam: 01-10-2013.
• Last date for submitting online application: 03-10-2013.
• GATE 2014 exam date: 01-02-2014 to 02-03-2014.
For GAIL:-
• The starting date for submitting application online: 23-12-2013.
• The last date for submitting the online application: 24-01-2014.
Current Opportunities:-
Currently GAIL has opening for the post of executive trainees in the department of:
• Instrumentation
• Chemical
• Mechanical
•Electrical
Age:-
• The maximum age of the candidate should not be more than 28 years as on 24-01-2013.
Academic aptitude:-
•Candidates who want to register for the exam must be engineering graduates with a degree in either Electrical & Electronics/ Chemical/ Production & Industrial/ Petrochemical Technology/ Electrical/Manufacturing/ Chemical Technology/ Mechanical & Automobile/Mechanical/ Petrochemical/Production.
• The candidate must also have a minimum of 65 percentile of marks.
Process of applying:-
• The candidates who wish to appear for the GAIL exam should first apply for GATE 2014 exam.
• They can register on GATE official website.
• After registering for the GATE exam, the candidate will get a unique registration number on which will be printed on their admit card.
• Once you get the admit card, go to the official site of GAIL, www.gailonline.com and register for the exam.
• The registration for the exam on the site will be available from 23-12-2013 to 20-01-2014.
Process of Selection: Candidates (who have cleared GATE 2014 exam) will be called for Group discussion and personal interview rounds.
