Short Service Appointments: Short Service Appointments as Assistant Commandant for a period of 08 years may be extended to 10 years and further extended to 14 years.
Procedure for Application: -
• Log on to www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in
• Click on Opportunities button
• Select the post and Click on the “I Agree Button” for filling online application form.
• Fill in details carefully.
• Check the form carefully before clicking the button to submit.
• Note the registration number obtained on successful completion of application.
• Take two printouts of the application and affix passport sized photograph on both these forms. These need to submitted at recruitment center.
Other documents to be submitted along application form: Duly attested photocopies of all required documents i.e. class 10th certificate/mark sheet showing date of birth, 12th class certificate along with mark sheet showing subjects, Degree certificate showing percentage of marks, caste certificate wherever required and NCC 'C' certificate/games certificate.
Procedure of Selection: Applicants would be selected on the basis of performance in mental ability test, picture perception and discussion test, psychological test, group testing and interview.
