The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak has been founded in the year 2008 by an Act of the Parliament of India. It aims to provide avenues of education, especially higher education and research facilities primarily for the tribal population of India.

Here students may find the admission procedure followed for different courses offered by the university.
How to apply:-
• Students can apply to University by downloading the admission form from the official website of the university or one can collect the prospectus cum application form from the university campus itself.
• Demand Draft of admission fees and the prescribed certificates need to be attached with the application form and submitted in the admin office before due date.
• Registration fees: Rs. 500/-
Mode of Payment:-
Students can pay the registration as well as course fees through Demand Draft in favour of "Indira Gandhi National Tribal University”, Payable at State Bank of India, Amarkantak.
Criteria for Admissions:-
• Applicants applying for any of the course in the university will be given admission on his/ her merit marks.
• The original entry qualification of HSC/ Diploma Certificate or Degree or Provisional Certificate and a copy attested must be submitted during the time of admission.
• In any of the circumstances, the eligibility rules specified by the university will not be relaxed and candidates need to follow them.
