Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducts admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA) course. The duration of this course is three years divided into six semsters. The intake capacity of the course is 60 seats. Admission is based on entrance test, group discussion and interview. Tezpur university MCA entrance test for admission focusses on aspirant's reasoning and basic arithematic ability, knowledge of the fundamentals of computer science and command over the english language.Duration: Three years (Six semesters)

Eligibility: A bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or in the major subject of the qualifying examination having passed in Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level.
Admission Procedure: The selection for admission to the programme will be based on an All India level Open Entrance Test to be conducted by the University. The questions will be multiple choice type. The test is of two hours duration and consists of three components

Mathematics of 10+2 level OR Computer Science (B.Sc. or BCA)
