KIIT University was founded in the year 2004 is a co-educational, autonomous university located at Bhubaneswar and was one of the youngest institutions to be awarded the deemed university status in India and then the university status in 2004 and is recognized by Limca Book of Records.

KIIT University bid diverse courses in variety of specialization subjects at different levels for the students who aim to achieve higher and quality education. Numerous courses it offers are as follows:

KIIT University Admissions 2014:
How to apply:
• Students can apply to KIIT University by downloading the admission form from the official website of the university or one can collect the prospectus cum application form from the university campus itself.
• All the required documents prescribed by the university for the relevant course must be acknowledged along with the application form before the due date.
• Registration fees: Rs. 200/-
Mode of Payment:-
Students can pay the registration as well as course fees through Demand Draft in favour of "KIIT” payable at Bhubaneswar.
Criteria for Admissions:-
• Admission will be done strictly on the merit basis of the KIITEE Entrance Test held every year by the university.
• The original entry qualification of HSC/ Diploma Certificate or Degree or Provisional Certificate and a copy attested must be submitted during the time of admission.
• Eligibility rules as specified for each course shall be strictly followed and shall not be relaxed under any circumstance.
Results:-
Results for the varied courses offered are generally announced depending upon the exams conducted. Students can view their results online through the official website of the university.

Campus:-
KIIT is sprawled over on 399 acres of land in Bhubaneswar. Each branch has its own building and laboratories and each department has their own libraries and computer facilities. The campus has an auditorium, on-campus hospital, a library, a canteen, a cricket/football playground, gymnasium, branch of the State Bank of India with ATM facility and other bank branches, a post office, an STD/ISD phone booth, and a co-operative store.
Special Features:-
• KIIT is an accredited institute having more than 12,000 students into its various distinct streams.
• It also became the youngest member of Association of Commonwealth Universities.
• All the academic programmes are accredited by NAAC of UGC and NBA of AICTE, which are benchmarks of excellence.
• NAAC has awarded KIIT the highest grade of "A" with a CGPA of 3.36/4.
