Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University (RKMVU), started, administered and run by Ramakrishna Mission, a registered society started by Swami Vivekananda in 1897. It provides courses on subjects as varied as rural and tribal development, disability management and special education, fundamental science education and Indian cultural and spiritual heritage.

Below you may find the admission procedure of the university.
How to apply:-
•Students can apply to Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University by collecting the prospectus cum application form from the university campus itself.
• At the time of admission students are asked to submit all their educational certificates with the form and also the registration fees in the admin office.
• Registration fees: Rs. 250/-
Criteria for Admissions:-
• The original entry qualification of HSC/ Diploma Certificate or Degree or Provisional Certificate and a copy attested must be submitted during the time of admission.
• Applicants need to follow all the eligible criteria fixed for the courses offered by the university.
• For any of the courses offered in the university, students will be appointed on the basis of their marks obtained in the previous years.

Campus:-
University offers students with an infrastructure for learning as well as facilities for simplifying the procurement of essential commodities and services. The campus includes facilities such as fully air conditioned classroom, separate hostel for girls and boys in campus and transport facilities, gym, library, labs, canteen, cafetaria, etc.
Special Features:-
• RKMVU was declared by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India as an institution deemed-to-be-University by a Gazetted Notification in the year 2005 under Section 3 of University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956.
•The academic system of the university would be semester system with provision for summer courses.
• It will offer courses through a credit accumulation system thereby enabling the students to learn the courses at their own pace.
