University of Kota (UOK) was established in the year 2003 with the ascent of the Governor of Rajasthan, and recognized by the UGC in 2003 under the state act. It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. At present, the University of Kota has 175 affiliated colleges and autonomous departments across the six districts of the state.
