West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences was established in the year 1995 by a Legislative Act. It aims to impart education in various branches of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Dairy Technology and Fishery Sciences and to promote basic and applied research in Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Dairy Technology and Fishery Sciences.
