BSF Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer), Head Constable (Ministerial) and Constable (Daftry) Recruitment 2014 Notification
Border Security Force has published notification for recruitment for the posts of Sub Inspector (Stenographer), Head Constable (Ministerial) and Constable (Daftry) in the following payscale as mentioned below with DA (Daily allowance) for each post other allowances as permissible to the members of the force from time to time. These posts are temporary but are likely to become permanent. • Organization:- Border Security Force (BSF)
• Age Limit:-Candidates aged between 18 and 25 years of age are eligible to apply.
• Age Relaxation:-Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes, three years for the Other Backward Classes and five years for Govt Servants
EDUCATIONAL ELIGIBILITY:-
Educational qualification for ASI (Steno) & HC (Min):-
Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognised Board or equivalent qualification from recognized university.
Educational qualification for Constable (Daftry):-
Matriculation or equivalent qualification from recognized board or university.
Shorthand/Typing speed:-
ASI (Steno) - Shorthand @80words per minute in English OR in Hindi for 10 minutes. Transcription of dictation in English in 50 minutes on computer OR transcription of dictation in Hindi in 65 minutes on computer.
HC (Min) - Typing @ 35 words per minute in English OR @ 30 words per minute in Hindi corresponding to 10500 KDPH in English/9000 KDPH in Hindi with average of 5 key depressions for each word on computer. Time- 10 minutes
CT (Daftry) - No technical test for CT(Daftry)

Procedure for Application:-
1. You are required to fill application form (Annexure-1). The application can also be typewritten or handwritten.
2. Envelope used for application must be super scribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT SUB INSPECTOR (STENOGRAPHER) OR HEAD CONSTABLE (MINISTERIAL) OR CONSTABLE (DAFTRY) IN BORDER SECURITY FORCE 2013-14.
3. Those applying for the post of post of ASI (Steno), HC(Ministerial) and Constable(Daftry) will have to fill up separate form for each post.
4. Those in government service are required to produce a non-objection certificate. This same is required to be forwarded along with application.
5. BSF departmental candidates are required to submit Service Certificate.
6. Eligible candidates who apply in response to advertisement will be assigned registration number and roll number through call letter intimating written test.
7. Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
Documents required to be attached with application form:-
• Attested copy of matriculation certificate as age proof.
• Attested copy of educational certificates
• Attested caste certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates.
• NOC from employer in case of employers.
• Service Certificate in case of departmental employees.
• Three identitical passport sized photograph.
• Two self addressed envelopes sized 25x12 cms with postage stamp of Rs 39/-.

• Examination Fee
• Copy of certificate in case in support of claim of adivasis/hill areas and tribes.

• Physical Measurement (PST)
• Short Hand Test (ASI Steno)
• Typing Test (only for HC Min)
• Checking of Documents and medical examination
The last date of receipt of application will be 30 days and 45 days for the candidates belongs to far flung areas of HP, J&K, and North Eastern stated from the date of publication of Advertisement in Employment News..
