Eligibility:-
For research in an area of Engineering and Technology:
Admission for PhD in Engineering and Technology is based on the aggregate of all the semesters the minimum CPI of 6.5 or the minimum 60% marks either at B. Tech. or at M. Tech./M.E. equivalent level, & M. Tech./M.E. or its equivalent in appropriate area as recognized by AIU.
Based on the aggregate of all the semesters Applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent in an appropriate area as recognized by AIU with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks with more than 15 years of experience in an appropriate area are eligible to apply.
For research in an area of Sciences Candidates with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or aggregate of minimum 60% marks in M.Sc. or its equivalent in appropriate areas recognized by AIU are eligible to apply.
For research in an area of Management:
Admission for PhD in Management is based on the aggregate of all the semesters the minimum CPI of 6.5 or the minimum 60% marks either at a Bachelor degree or at M.B.A./ M. Tech. /M.E./A.C.A./A.I.C.W.A./A.C.S. level equivalent level, & M.B.A./ M. Tech . /M.E./A.C.A./A.I.C.W.A./A.C.S.or its equivalent in appropriate area as recognized by AIU.
For research in an area related to Liberal Studies (English Language & Literature, Public Administration and Public Policy, Economics, Psychology, Political Science, & International Relations) the qualification is
M. A. with minimum 55% marks as aggregate of all the years or its equivalent in appropriate area as recognized by AIU.
Selection Procedure:-
There will be a Research Aptitude Test (RAT) common for all the eligible candidates, followed by a Discipline wise proficiency-evaluation which may be in the form of oral &/or written test/s as decided by the concerned school of research.
