Systematic and non selective study is the key to MAT preparations. This involves devoting sufficient amount of time and at the same time covering as much as possible. This exam demands a considerable amount of preparation and here are some tips for preparing well for MAT exam. 1.Work on Math sections: There is a need to work on quantitative aptitude as well as mathematical skills. The key to this is practice. Practice as many sums as possible and revise formulae and techniques for solving equations and problems. The more practice the better your preparation.
2. Brush on vocabulary: Take up reading to brush on vocabulary. There is no substitute for this.

5. Do an analysis of study: Do an analysis of study. This analysis should be done at various stages of study. For instance at the start of preparations. This helps you in understanding your strengths and weaknesses heading into preparation. Do an analysis also at various junctures of your study plan to assess differences and areas for improvement.
