G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology is the first agricultural university of India founded in the year 1960 which was inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru. The University was declared as the best among all the other State Universities in India, in the year 1997.

Here students may find the admission procedure followed for different courses offered by the university.
How to apply:-
• Students can apply to University by downloading the admission form from the official website of the university or one can collect the prospectus cum application form from the university campus itself.
• At the time of admission students are asked to submit all their educational certificates with the form and also the registration fees in the admin office.
Criteria for Admissions:-
• Students applying for any of the courses offered by the university will be selected on the merit basis.
• The original entry qualification of HSC/ Diploma Certificate or Degree or Provisional Certificate and a copy attested must be submitted during the time of admission.
• University has set some definite rules for each of the courses offered and is asked to be tracked by the applicants.
Campus:-
University has a huge well equipped campus spread over 10000 acres that provides facilities such as library with numerous books, spacious computer centre, labs, fully air conditioned classrooms, mini cafeteria, seminar halls with Wi-Fi connectivity and other equipments, parking area, amphitheatre, sports complex and souvenir shop.
